Honor Pad X7 launched with 8’’ display and 5100mAh battery

Honor has launched its new tablet X7 in China with an 8’’ display coupled with the Helio P22T SoC.

Honor has unveiled its latest Honor Tablet X7 in China on 7th May. The front of the X7 gets an LCD panel, while the back is made of metal with textures for better grip.

Honor’s new budget tablet is powered by an octa-core MediaTek processor and has an 8-inch IPS panel. The tablet offers a pocket-friendly price with a single color option. It is offered in both Wi-Fi and LTE variants.

The tablet runs on Android 10 based Magic UI 4.0. The Honor Tablet X7 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek P22T (MT8768T), paired with an IMG PowerVR GE8320-class GPU, clocked at 2.3G. It has 3 GB RAM and 32 GB storage. However, the tablet also has a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 512 GB.

The tablet features an 8-inch IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. The display has a peak brightness of 300 nits, 189 ppi pixel density, and a screen-to-body ratio of 80-percent.

The device comes with an e-book mode that prevents eye fatigue during prolonged reading sessions. The tablet has a total of two cameras: a 2MP selfie shooter with fixed focus and a 5MP main rear camera with autofocus.

The Honor Tablet X7 uses a 5,100 mAh battery with a 10W charge to retain its light for charging via a micro-USB port. There is also a 3.5mm headphone jack for listening to music through wired earphones. Its weight is just 325 grams.

The tablet is child-friendly thanks to an education center and other child-oriented facilities and educational materials for children.

Honor Tablet X7 is currently only available in a dark blue shade. It is priced at CNY 899 for the Wi-Fi variant with 3GB RAM + 32GB storage, on the other hand, the LTE variant is priced at CNY 1,199.
