According to reports, Kevin Federline, 45, set a deadline for Britney Spears’ lawyers to approve his plans to relocate their two sons. He allegedly informed them that they had until Friday to agree to the move, or he would pursue legal action and bring the matter before a judge.
Sean Preston, 17, and Jayden James, 16, are the shared children of the former couple who divorced in 2007 after a two-year marriage.
Federline’s lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, reportedly communicated with Britney Spears’ lawyer, Mathew Rosengart, through letters or emails, making multiple requests for consent, as stated by Kaplan in his comments to TMZ.
According to Federline’s attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, Federline intends to move to Hawaii on August 1 along with his sons and wife, Victoria Prince. However, the lack of approval from Britney Spears has posed challenges in making necessary arrangements, such as securing a rental house for their family. The decision to move is primarily driven by Prince’s job offer in the sports department of a local university in Hawaii.
Kaplan clarified that there should be no obstacles regarding the relocation, citing Federline’s full legal and de facto physical custody of their children. He also mentioned that Britney Spears, who allegedly hadn’t seen the boys in over a year, has now given her ‘consent’ for the move. Kaplan confirmed this information to People magazine.
“It’s a chance for Kevin and his wife to seize an opportunity, and the boys are eager to escape the scrutiny of Los Angeles,” he further explained. The relocation will also involve Federline and Prince’s two younger children, Jordan, aged 11, and Peyton, aged eight. The move is planned to take place after Sean’s high school graduation.
Jayden will complete his final year of school through remote learning from Hawaii. A source informed DailyMail.com that Britney Spears has consistently been a caring and encouraging mother and has never objected to Kevin Federline’s relocation plan.

On the other hand, Federline and Prince got married in 2013.
