Joe Biden appeals to be careful and vaccinate with Delta variant

U.S. – After taking over the post of US President Joe Biden, he has achieved a milestone towards control of COVID-19, which he himself announced. Since his presidency on January 20, 300 million doses of anti-COVID-19 vaccines have been given to citizens in 150 days. Appeal to be careful and vaccinate with Delta Variant Biden asked the people of America to be careful while instructing about the Delta variant. He said that the new virus is especially dangerous for the youth. He appealed to the people to get vaccinated at the earliest.

Biden said – the new variant is far more dangerous and may put people who are not vaccinated at risk. This is a very worrying thing. Especially the way experts are giving new information about the Delta variant has raised concerns. This new virus is more contagious and deadly.

Biden is also facing the danger of failure with achieving this milestone. In fact, he had set a target of at least partially vaccinating 70 percent of the US population by July 4, which is not expected to be completed on time.

The Central Center for Disease Control and Prevention has said that 30 crore 50 lakh doses have been given till June 10. Overall, 51.9 percent of America’s population i.e. 17.24 million people have been vaccinated.

Let us inform that in view of the increasing outbreak of alpha and delta forms of the virus in the country, America has made preparations for a booster dose. For this, it has been decided to buy 20 crore doses of Moderna vaccine. America feels that if the epidemic period continues like this, then people who have been vaccinated may need a booster dose.

Along with this, America has made this agreement with the pharma company Moderna keeping in mind the matter of vaccinating children below the age of 12 years. The government believes that if the FDA approves the vaccine for children under the age of 12, then only this consignment will be used.

On Wednesday, after a deal with the US government, Moderna said it expects to deliver 110 million doses of the vaccine in the last quarter of this year. The rest of the dose will be given in the first quarter of the year 2022. So far, the US government has signed a total of 500 million doses from Moderna.
