10 Important Things To Do After Installing WordPress

Installing WordPress is not a difficult task, but the real task is to follow important steps after installing WordPress. You have to change the default WordPress Setting and Install some good Plugins to taste the juice of WordPress.

1. Change the Default Theme

The first thing you have to do is to change the default WordPress theme. By default, WordPress has Twenty Eleven Theme installed. You should install a good looking and fast loading theme which is very important to Attract Readers and Gain Rankings. To change the Theme, just log in to your Cpanel and change it. 2. Create Categories and Pages

The next most important step is to Create Categories and Pages on your Blog. Create important pages like About, Contact, Privacy Policy, etc. Also, create Categories depending upon your niche. Creating all Categories and Pages will ease your work as you don’t have to create it again.

3. Create a Logo for your Blog

Create a Beautifull Logo for your Blog & paste it in Header. This will add more beauty to your Blog. Create a Beautifull Logo, as the Logo shows your Blog Identity.

4. Change the Permalink Structure

Adding the Author or Owner profile is a must for every Blog. Add a little info about yourself in the About Me Section and show it at the end of every Post. This will create trust in your Readers.

6. Create a Feedburner Account

Create a Feedburner Account for your Blog and burn Feeds. You can set up a Feedburner Account for free. This is must need for every Blog and you should also make some Effective Plans to Increase Feed Subscribers.

7. Add a Subscription Box

8. Don’t mess Blog with Advertisements
