Find out what new features are available for Telegram users on the messaging app

Telegram has recently introduced a third batch of new features this year, following the ones released in February and March.

On Friday, Telegram made an official announcement on its blog that users can now share complete chat folders with a single link, create custom wallpapers for specific chats, use web chats in any chat, and more with the latest update.

Telegram now allows users to share chat folders with others by sharing a link. This feature enables users to invite friends or colleagues to join work groups, news channels, and other folders with a single tap. Additionally, each folder can support multiple invite links for access to various chats. To create a folder, go to ‘Chat Folders’ in ‘Settings’.

With the latest update, Telegram now allows users to personalize their chats by setting custom wallpapers. Users can choose their favourite photos or colour combinations to set as wallpaper for specific chats. Once a wallpaper is set, a message is sent to the chat partner to either add the same wallpaper or create their own.

Telegram has improved its bot feature, which now allows users to launch bots directly in any chat. Bots that support this feature can be accessed via a direct link or by mentioning the bot’s username in any chat.

Telegram has introduced collectible usernames for bots, and users can now purchase Telegram Premium through Fragment.

The attachment menu on Telegram now features a fast scrolling option. Users can scroll through the menu at high speeds by pulling down on the date bar.

Telegram has introduced a new feature for groups with less than 100 members and with topics enabled. Users can now see the exact time when their messages were read by others in the group. This feature is displayed in the form of read receipts.

The latest Telegram update brings improvements to the user interface. The ‘Send When Online’ feature is now more accessible, with fewer taps required. Users can now create groups without having to add members immediately. Additionally, the new update includes a new animation for profile pictures on the latest iPhones, which smoothly slides into the dynamic island when scrolling on profiles and info pages.
