Discovery of Two Alien Civilizations Possessing Potential Technological Superiority and a Threat to Humanity

The specter of an alien Armageddon looms large, as experts caution that extraterrestrial beings, surpassing us by billions of years in technological advancement, may pose a formidable threat to humanity. While many dismiss the notion of UFOs or advanced alien civilizations, assuming any extraterrestrial life to be less advanced than us, Professor Jane Breaves from the University of Cardiff challenges this perspective.

Expressing concern, she contends that we may be on the brink of encountering at least two civilizations in our own galaxy, located around stars 70 and 110 light-years away, whose significantly greater age could imply a level of development that surpasses our own. In the quest for signs of extraterrestrial life, Professor Breaves emphasizes that it is we who should harbor apprehensions about potential encounters.

In a statement to MailOnline, Professor Breaves remarked, “These stars significantly predate the sun, by approximately 8 billion years, allowing planets in their orbit sufficient time to reduce their radioactive elements.” Urging prompt investigation, she emphasized the importance of exploring whether these rocky worlds truly exist. Furthermore, she suggested that if confirmed, the potential existence of life on these planets might precede life on Earth, making it imperative to examine the possibility swiftly.

Recently published by the American Astronomical Society, Professor Breaves’ study highlights the potential of the stars HD 76932 and HD 201891, indicating that they could harbor biospheres with a level of advancement surpassing our own.

“The prospect of discovering rocky exoplanets featuring continents appears highly favorable,” she remarked.

The existence of more advanced extraterrestrial life could pose a significant threat, leaving us vulnerable to manipulation or even annihilation. This raises questions about why aliens haven’t displayed greater interest in us so far. It prompts speculation – perhaps they have observed us without our awareness, or perhaps our existence is so inconsequential to them that they simply overlook us.
