Twitter’s new owner Elon Musk has announced that he will lift the ban imposed on former US President Donald Trump’s Twitter account. According to the news agency AP, Musk has also said that the decision to ban Donald Trump on Twitter was a morally bad decision.

After this, many companies including Twitter banned Trump on social media platforms. However, after Elon Musk bought Twitter, the Republican Party in America demanded to remove the ban from Trump’s account.
Trump made two tweets after announcing the results of the US presidential election last year. In one, he described his supporters of violence as revolutionaries, in the other he said that he would not go to the presidential inauguration (Biden’s swearing-in) on January 20.
A few minutes after these two tweets, the tweets of Trump’s account stopped showing and the message of the account suspend started showing. Trump had more than 88 million followers on this Twitter account. Later, Trump started his own social media platform called Truth. Apart from Twitter, Trump has also been banned by Facebook and YouTube.
Recently, after the deal was finalized with Twitter, Tesla CEO Elon Musk insisted on activating such accounts along with Trump, which has been banned for various reasons. Musk has been a big supporter of free speech even before the Twitter deal. Even after Twitter banned former US President Donald Trump, Elon Musk said that he wants to improve this platform.
