How to One-Click Root Nexus 7 and Flash ClockworkMod Recovery: Tutorial

Nexus 7 is till now not released and we have come up with not one but two methods of rooting this device. The method which we are going to discuss in this article is the easiest method of rooting this device Nexus 7. XDA-Developers developed by m.sabra is the man who developed Nexus 7 One Click Root Tool. In our previous article of how to root Nexus 7 we have a guide to root Nexus 7 in an easy procedure, and today we are there to discuss another method of rooting which will take just one click.

This update which we are going to discuss in this article can only be applied to Galaxy Nexus 7. Applying this update on another device or model may give an unwanted results. If anything happens to your device while applying this update neither we nor the developer will be responsible and you will also void your warranty after rooting your device, so proceed at your own risk.

Pre-Requisites

  • Backup all the important data’s on your phone so that there is no data loss during the process.
  • You must charge your phone at least 70 % so that there will be no Power interruption.
  • Disable all the security suites installed in your device as it may interrupt the process of firmware update.
  • Your Device Nexus 7 must have Bootloader unlocked.

Procedure to One-Click Root Nexus 7 and Flash ClockworkMod Recovery

Step 1: Download Nexus 7 One Click Root Tool Dev-Host. And you also have to download and set-up the Android Software Development Kit.

Step 2: Extract the .zip file’s contents using suitable software as far as our concern we suggest 7zip and then run the root application inside the extracted contents.

Note: The USB drivers, ADB/Fastboot EXEs, and concerned SuperSU, ClockworkMod Recovery files are already included in the .zip file.
