Presidential candidate Marine Le Pen promises to impose fines on headscarves

The first phase of voting for the French presidential election will begin on April 10. This time the challenge before President Emmanuel Macron is from the right-wing candidate Marine Le Pen. This time the election is being considered a close contest. According to the survey conducted this week, now there is a difference of only 3% between Macron and Le Pen.

According to French political pundits, no candidate is likely to get more than 50% of the vote in the first round. Therefore, the decision will be taken only in the second round of voting. In this phase, on April 24, there will be a contest between the two candidates who topped in the first phase. Meanwhile, the headscarves issue has also sprung up in the elections.
