According to the scientists of a university of America, we all knew the heart problems caused by the infection but were still unaware of whether the virus directly infects the organs or is due to inflammation somewhere in the body.

Washington. In the month of March 2020, there have been so much research has been executed and so many studies are ongoing.  The coronavirus infection was called an epidemic by the World Health Organization. A new study in this sequence has shown that heart muscle problems arise in corona patients due to infection of muscle cells attached to the heart. Not only this, when the cells stop working, then there is a problem in working the muscles. According to the scientists, this research can open the way to make new medicines for the treatment of corona.

According to scientists at the US-based Washington University School of Medicine, we all knew the heart problems caused by the infection but were still unaware of whether the virus directly infected the organs or the inflammation somewhere in the body. It happens while walking. This research has been published in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology: Basic to Translational Science’. Under this, cardiac tissue was made from stem cells and then it was seen how the coronavirus infects the heart.

According to scientists, the infection not only kills the muscle cells attached to the heart but also destroys the muscle fiber unit required for muscle contraction. According to researchers, muscle fiber units can be destroyed even in the absence of inflammation. “Inflammation is not the primary cause of heart problems,” said Corey Levine, a Washington University School of Medicine-related and senior author of the research. Based on the findings associated with the study, the researchers said that the coronavirus has an effect on the heart and that it has the most effect on immune-fighting immune cells.
