Coronavirus: Is the vaccine impacting on the new variant of Covid-19? Big revelation revealed in the study

A New York-based study of Rockefeller University has revealed whether Corona Vaccine is effective against new variants of the new Coronavirus.

New York: Coronavirus infection is increasing rapidly in India and record cases are being reported daily. The virus of Covid-19 is rapidly changing its form and new variants are coming out. Meanwhile, the question is arising whether the Corona Vaccine is effective against the new variant. This has been revealed in a study by Rockefeller University of New York.

Research conducted on people who have been vaccinated

Scientists at New York-based Rockefeller University have researched 417 vaccinated Pfizer / Moderna vaccines. One of these women became infected with the coronavirus 19 days after taking the second dose of the vaccine and the other woman after 36 days. This research has been published in the New England Journal of Medicine.

Neutralizing antibodies found in women

Researchers examined these two women and both were found to have adequate neutralizing antibodies. This means that the vaccine is doing the right thing. Research also found that vaccines are effective in fighting against the UK variant and the New York variant.

These variants of Corona found in women

Apart from this, variants of coronavirus were investigated in women and different variants were found in both. Three mutations in E484 and T95I, DEL 142-144 and D 614G were found in the virus found from one woman. Scientists have genome sequencing of this new variant and based on that the initial result is derived. He shows that these variants are the result of a combination of UK and New York variants.
