Saudi Arabia has ended all restrictions imposed for the prevention of COVID-19 infection. On Saturday, the Interior Ministry told the Saudi Press Agency that all precautionary restrictions imposed to deal with the coronavirus would now be ineffective. With the end of these restrictions, the common citizens of Saudi Arabia as well as Indian workers will get a big relief. Indian citizens will be able to work there again. According to the report of Arab News, the restriction of social distancing has been abolished in public places as well as in mosques. However, everyone will still have to wear a mask.
People from other countries will also not have to go through mandatory quarantine upon arrival in Riyadh. Also, passengers are exempted from the RTPCR test. However, visas will be issued to only those foreign travelers who have insurance cover to meet the cost of treatment of COVID-19.
Apart from this, it is also mandatory for all eligible people to get the vaccine. Along with this, it will be necessary to share vaccine and health information on the Tawakkalna app.
The Saudi Ministry of Health has so far approved nine corona vaccines. These include Pfizer, Moderna, Oxford AstraZeneca, J&J, Sinopharm, Sinovac, Covaxin, Sputnik, and Novavax. That is, those taking doses of these vaccines are allowed to travel to Saudi Arabia.

Of these, 3 lakh had returned from UAE and 1.37 lakh had returned from Saudi Arabia. 90802 from Kuwait, 72,259 from Oman, 51,190 from Qatar, and 27,453 from Bahrain had to return home. Now work is expected to return to normal in other Gulf countries as well.
