2. Rage HD:

Rage is a first-person shooter game for iOS, it is a very violent game. Hungry mutants want to attack you and you have to shoot them. While you scour pulse-pounding levels for ammo and cash pick-ups. It is a full HD game that looks the same as you are playing on our PC. You can enjoy this game at little cost from iTunes.

3. Archetype HD:

Archetype HD is an unreal-tournament style multi-player first-person shooter for the iPad. The main menu gives you five options: my profile, which is erm, your profile, a buddy list of chaps you enjoyed fragging or fragging alongside, settings, recent players and start the match. You can pick up guns and swap between them, throw grenades and execute melee attacks in exactly the same way you’d expect from a frag title.

4. Modern Combat: Sandstorm HD

All-new game from Gameloft, the game launches with a surprisingly strong minute of CG footage, the tone is set for a “somewhere in the middle east” military story. The game has three options for control, including a virtual movement stick and touch-based aiming (with on-screen shoot button), a dual analog mode where the sticks actually float on either half of the screen, with the right stick doubling as the fire button when tapped directly, and a classic dual analog set up as the third option. This game is superb to grab it now.

5. N.O.V.A. – Near Orbit Vanguard Alliance Review:

Yet another game from Gameloft, Gameloft generally make full 3D HD games for peoples. This game is a single-player first-person shooter on the iPad. N.O.V.A.’s single-player game includes 12 levels, plus a brief tutorial. In each level, you’re directed through a series of short objectives, with checkpoints saving your progress along the way. The levels take between 15 and 20 minutes apiece to complete, bringing the campaign mode to about three-and-a-half hours. This is a good, healthy length for a single-player game on the iPhone, and the objectives are so varied that the campaign never becomes repetitive.
